National Black Girl Spa Day

I am beyond excited to share an empowering and restorative initiative that we at Booked and Bougie are launching—National Black Girl Spa Day! This special day (January 11, 2025) is dedicated to the self-care, well-being, and economic empowerment of Black women across the United States.

At Booked and Bougie, we recognize the need for moments of pause and luxury in our busy lives. Self-care is not just a luxury; it’s essential. That’s why we’re inviting Black women everywhere to indulge in a day designed just for them—a day where relaxation meets community, and where self-love intersects with support for Black-owned businesses.

What is National Black Girl Spa Day? National Black Girl Spa Day is a day set aside to prioritize self-care and well-being by visiting Black-owned wellness providers throughout the country. We’re working with certified, licensed Black-owned establishments to create an experience that celebrates and uplifts Black women. Each participating location will be encouraged to offer special promotions and amenities for Black women who visit on this day. From soothing massages to revitalizing facials and energy-aligning reiki sessions, we aim to create a nationwide wave of relaxation and renewal.

But that’s not all. We believe in continuing the journey of self-discovery and community, so each woman who joins our community at that time will receive one month of free access to Booked and Bougie—a space where luxury meets connection, curated for the modern Black woman.
