The Founder’s Salon

A gathering for thoughtful, multidimensional Black women

There are many networking spaces in the world.

Very few are designed for women who are deep thinkers, creators, leaders, and visionaries: women who are building meaningful work while also navigating the deeper questions of identity, purpose, creativity, and growth.

The Founder’s Salon was created to bring these women together.

Inspired by the historic salons of Paris and Harlem, where artists, writers, and intellectuals gathered to exchange ideas, the Founder’s Salon is a virtual gathering designed for high-achieving, emotionally intelligent, and multidimensional women who want conversation that goes beyond surface-level networking.

This is a space for women who enjoy discussing ideas.

Women who read, create, build, question, and evolve.

Women who are curious about the world and about themselves.

What Happens at a Founder’s Salon

Each Salon centers around a featured speaker or conversation topic.

Our guest speakers may include:

  • founders and entrepreneurs
  • writers and creatives
  • thinkers and cultural commentators
  • wellness and personal development leaders
  • women building meaningful work in the world

The conversation is designed to be thought-provoking and intimate, creating space for participants to engage with ideas and with each other.

But the Salon is not only about listening.

We also create space for connection.

Toward the end of each gathering, each participant will have the opportunity to briefly introduce herself, share what she is currently working on, and let the room know how others might support her work.

In this way, the Salon becomes not only a conversation space, but also a community of women uplifting one another’s ideas, businesses, and creative work.

When the Salon Takes Place

The Founder’s Salon is held once per month, on the last Wednesday or Thursday evening of the month depending on speaker availability. Our next Salon is on March 25th at 7 PM ET.

Each gathering takes place virtually and lasts approximately 60 minutes.

After the conversation concludes, the real magic often continues as women connect further inside the community.

A Special Invitation for Salon Guests

Women who attend the Founder’s Salon but are not currently members of The Fortune Collective Elite will receive two weeks of complimentary access to the Elite community immediately following the event.

This allows Salon guests to:

  • connect with the women they met during the gathering
  • explore the conversations happening inside the community
  • participate in member discussions
  • see how the network supports each other’s work and growth

During this two-week period, Salon guests will also be able to attend the Elite Inner Circle Luncheon, a monthly virtual gathering held on the first Wednesday of each month, where members share insights, ideas, and updates in a relaxed conversation format.

The goal is simple:

To give thoughtful women the opportunity to experience the community before deciding whether it feels like the right home for them.

Who the Founder’s Salon Is For

The Founder’s Salon is designed for women who are:

  • building something meaningful in the world
  • curious, reflective, and intellectually engaged
  • interested in thoughtful conversation and personal growth
  • supportive of other women’s ideas and work
  • looking for a community of peers who understand the complexity of ambition, creativity, and life

Many of the women who attend are entrepreneurs, creatives, leaders, writers, coaches, or professionals navigating interesting transitions in their lives.

But more than titles, what matters most is energy and curiosity.

A Different Kind of Gathering

In a world that often moves quickly and values constant productivity, the Founder’s Salon is a chance to pause and engage with ideas and with people in a meaningful way.

The conversations are thoughtful.
The women are remarkable.
And the connections often extend far beyond the hour we spend together.
