The Story

This space began as Booked & Bougie, a community centered around connection, travel, and shared experiences.

But as time passed, something deeper revealed itself.

What women were really coming for wasn’t just events or trips.
They were coming for real conversation.
For aligned friendships.
For a space where they didn’t have to shrink, explain themselves, or navigate life alone.

As members began joining from across the country, and eventually across the world, it became clear that the structure needed to grow.

The Fortune Collective was born from that evolution.

Today, Booked & Bougie continues as the social calendar of the Collective, where members gather, host experiences, and meet in person.

But the heart of the space now lives in the Collective itself, in the daily connection, the shared vision, and the women inside it.

Who This Space is For

The Fortune Collective is for Black women who:

• value connection that goes deeper than networking
• are growing, evolving, and building intentional lives
• want friendships that feel aligned, not forced
• believe success and softness can coexist

Who This Space is NOT For

The Fortune Collective was created as a global home for Black women to gather in a space that honors our shared cultural experience, perspectives, and lived realities.

To protect that intention, this space may not be the right fit for everyone.

The Collective is not for:

This community exists specifically to center Black women around the world. If you identify as a Black woman and are part of our shared cultural experience, you are welcome here. If not, we encourage you to find a space designed for your own community and journey.

Accepted members receive a 7-day trial to explore the space, connect with the community, and see if it truly resonates.

From there, women choose whether to remain as members of the Collective and participate in the community and its Global Gatherings.

Upon entering Elite, you will sit privately with Chrystal for a 60-minute witnessed conversation designed to recalibrate your nervous system, clarify your season, and set the tone for your year inside the chamber. This is not surface-level coaching; it is energetic refinement.

Members of the Collective engage daily through conversation, shared experiences, and mutual support as they navigate life, growth, relationships, work, and personal evolution.

The space is supported by stewards and hosts who help cultivate connection and occasionally bring members together through in-person gatherings.

Throughout the year, women also meet face-to-face through our Global Gatherings: intentional travel experiences hosted around the world.

These aren’t just trips.

Our Values

The Fortune Collective is a global community for Black women who believe in centering, protecting, and advancing Black women without apology.

We are not bound by geography.
We are united by alignment.

We welcome Black women across the diaspora — whether you are in Atlanta, London, Lagos, Toronto, Kingston, or beyond — who believe that Black women deserve safety, sovereignty, softness, and power.

This community is rooted in three core principles:

1. Belief in Black Women’s Political Self-Preservation

We believe Black women have the right to organize, vote, build, invest, and move in ways that protect our collective future.
We honor the wisdom of Black women choosing survival, strategy, and long-term security.

2. Refusal to Side with Systems that Minimize Racial Harm

When anti-Black harm occurs, we center Black women.
We do not gaslight.
We do not downplay.
We do not prioritize institutional comfort over lived experience.

3. Alignment with Collective Safety

We believe our liberation is interconnected.
We value emotional intelligence, discernment, and the maturity to protect the room.

Membership Terms & Expectations

The Fortune Collective operates as a private membership community with shared values and standards for participation. All members agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, which is designed to ensure a respectful, supportive, and safe environment for everyone.

Membership dues are billed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated. By joining, members acknowledge their responsibility for all scheduled payments associated with their membership and any events or trips they choose to participate in.

Because our community relies on trust and mutual accountability, disputes or chargebacks filed with a payment processor in place of direct communication with our team are considered a breach of membership terms. Such actions may result in immediate and permanent removal from the community, including cancellation of access to trips, events, and future participation.

We are always happy to address questions or concerns directly and encourage members to reach out so we can support one another in good faith.
