Why Rooted: A Gentle Sanctuary Is the Getaway Your Soul Has Been Asking For

There comes a time when your spirit whispers: slow down, soften, return to yourself.

That’s the heart of Rooted: A Gentle Sanctuary, a retreat designed for Black women who are ready to rest, reconnect, and realign with what truly matters. From January 9–12, 2026, we’ll gather at the Black-owned Mansion at Noble Lane for four days of intentional living, sisterhood, and deep restoration.

Already, thirteen women have said yes, and each one brings her own story, her own longing, her own desire for renewal. Together, we are creating a circle that feels less like a trip and more like a sacred homecoming.

At Rooted, you’ll experience:

  • Gentle mornings that begin with quiet time, yoga, or light movement
  • Soulful sessions that explore alignment, self-love, and soft living.
  • Sacred meals and conversation around beautifully set tables.
  • Ample free time to nap, journal, or explore the beauty of the area at your own pace.

Unlike high-energy retreats that leave you needing a vacation afterward, Rooted is intentionally designed with pockets of solitude and softness. You’ll leave not only inspired, but also truly rested.

If your heart has been craving space to breathe and reset, this is your invitation.

Rooms are filling quickly and registration closes Friday, August 22nd. I would love for you to be one of the women who says yes to herself.
