June 1–5, 2026
This June, a small group of women from both the East and West Coasts gathered in Napa Valley for the latest TRIBE Retreat, a week intentionally designed around rest, meaningful conversation, and connection.

Guests had their choice between the Andaz Napa and the Archer Hotel, both in downtown Napa. Most of us stayed at the Archer Hotel, a chic boutique property in the center of First Street. Welcome glasses of wine, excellent service, and impeccable design made this stay an incredible value.
We began our time together with wine tasting at a Black-owned winery, setting the tone for a week centered on savoring life’s experiences rather than rushing through them.
One of the highlights of our retreat was an unforgettable alfresco farm-to-table luncheon at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Surrounded by the beauty of Napa Valley, we shared a friendship game designed to help us learn more about one another while enjoying a meal sourced almost entirely from the property itself. From the vegetables and honey to the meat served on our plates, every detail reflected the care and craftsmanship that make Napa so special. More importantly, the afternoon created space for heartfelt conversations and genuine connection.
Throughout the week, guests enjoyed ample free time to explore downtown Napa at their own pace. There was so much to enjoy within walking distance. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed the Napa Farmer’s Market on Tuesday morning (the best strawberries I’ve had in years!), and yoga at Yoga West on Wednesday morning. We spent time browsing local shops, discovering restaurants, enjoying wine tastings, or simply taking in the slower rhythm of the town.
Our Dinner en Blanc at Ember Steak inside the Meritage Resort was another memorable evening. Dressed in white, we gathered around the table for exceptional food, impeccable service, and the kind of conversations that remind us how powerful it can be to be in community with other women who understand the journey.
We concluded our retreat with a farewell cocktail gathering at Wine Girl Napa Valley, celebrating new friendships, shared experiences, and the memories we created together throughout the week.
There is something uniquely restorative about Napa Valley. The pace is slower. The beautiful scenery invites you to breathe more deeply. Stress seems to melt away the moment you arrive. It is the perfect setting for women seeking both relaxation and meaningful connection.
A special thank you to Black Girl Vitamins for sponsoring this year’s retreat and providing our guests with wellness samples, water bottles, and an exclusive offer to support their health journeys beyond our time together.

At the end of the week, one of our guests said she was leaving the retreat feeling healed, and ready to face this world. Mission accomplished. This retreat was designed with our nervous systems in mind, removing pressure to perform or conform, space to explore and decompress, and a safe space to connect.
While every retreat includes beautiful destinations and memorable experiences, what makes TRIBE special is the space created for Black women to show up exactly as they are. This retreat may have been one of our smallest gatherings to date, but it was also one of our most intimate, reminding us that meaningful connection is never measured by numbers.
Until next time, Napa.
